Kids Christmas Gift Guide

I don’t know about you, but I’ve really struggled for what to get the boys for Christmas this year.  I thought I’d put together this little gift guide incase anyone else was having a similar problem!  These gifts vary in price and age range, but I think there’s just about something for everyone.

Ready 2 Robot Double Trouble Battle Pack

Age 5+

Ready 2 Robot is a mixture of building robots and making them fight each other, what little boy wouldn’t love that?  There are a few different versions of this battle pack as well as a larger version which includes slime and a battle arena.  You can also get smaller ones, similar to blind bags, which would be perfect for stocking fillers.  This one is currently on offer for £14.99 in Smyths Toy Store and you can get it here.

Smart Ass

Age 12+

Everyone needs a board game for Christmas right?  Smart Ass looks brilliant, I’m excited to play this with the family on the big day.  We love a good quiz in our house and this game is right up our street.  Again, this is currently reduced in Smyths from £19.99 to £12.99 so it’s even more of a bargain!  Get it here.

TX30 Gaming Headset

RRP £14.99

Perfect for the gamer in your life, this TX30 headset is compatible with PS4 and available from Argos.  Whether they are serious gamers or you just don’t want to have to listen to the racket from their bedroom while they play, this headset is great.  It’s available in a variety of colours, comes in this gorgeous packaging which I think looks pretty expensive. and the best bit?  It’s only £10.99 just now!!

Darcy Curl Doll

RRP £72

Age 3+

I cannot believe how much I love this doll, doesn’t she just have the most gorgeous little face?  The Darcy Curl Doll comes in this lovely suitcase and is wearing the cutest tartan skirt and cardigan combo.  The doll was born through co founder Phy McCarthys frustrations that she was unable to find a doll that looked like her mixed race daughter.  So she created her own!  Darcy is 18 inches, quite tall compared to other options out there and is made to be a best friend.  The quality is unreal and I absolutely adore her curls, this really is the perfect gift for any little girl.  The Darcy Curl Doll is available for £39 from Amazon.

Wonder Box Subscription Gift

From £24.99

Age 4+

I love a good subscription box and Connor loves getting mail so this really is a win, win.  These gorgeous fortnightly subscription boxes are packed with activities – the box itself even turns into something!  Inside you can find a 20 page activity book, themed toy and stickers , amongst other things.  The boxes are based on a variety of different subjects to allow the kids to learn something new with each delivery.  The subscription packages are available in 4,6 or 10 boxes, prices start from £24.99 and the quality is great.  I really think that any youngster would be so excited to receive one of these!  You can get yours here.  Orders received before the 19th of December will receive an extra Christmas activity booklet and  gift certificate.

ergoPouch Sleep Suit

From £49.99

Age  2 months – 4 years

Mason had the ergoPouch Cocoon sleep suit and we loved it, it kept him so cosy and he really got a great night sleep whilst using it so I was slightly upset when he outgrew it earlier than I had expected.  This ergoPouch Sleep Suit is the next step up;  suitable from 2 months – 4 years old these suits are available in 3 tog weights for use all year round.  It switches from a sleep suit to a sleeping bag thanks to cleverly designed zippers and even has grip pads on the feet for little walkers!  The quality is incredible; this one is the 2.5 tog, it has the softest long jersey sleeves and even has little fold over mitts for extra warmth in the winter months.  The pattern is gorgeous – grey is always a winner in this house & the hint of aqua will match Masons new room perfectly.  I think this is a genius product and I really wish I’d known about ergoPouch when Connor was a baby.  This little sleep suit definifely makes the perfect gift whether for Christmas or as a present for a new baby.  You can get yours here.

ergoPouch Joey Trackable Comforter

RRP £24.95

This product is absolutely genius!  I cannot believe it hasn’t been thought of sooner.  A gorgeous little comforter which comes complete with a child safe trackable device – it can be linked to your mobile so you can always keep an eye on its wherabouts!  See, I told you it was genius!  Joey is so soft – made from the purest eco-friendly bamboo and cotton – and comes in this lovely shade of mint green which of course, is suitable for boys and girls!  Isn’t he just the ideal little stocking filler?  He is available to buy from the ergoPouch website.

One World Futbol

RRP £35

This ball is unpoppable.  Yep, I said UN-poppable – it doesn’t even go flat when it’s punctured!  I particularly like the size of it, it’s not too small or too big – it’s the perfect size for little feet like Connors to have a kick about with.  One World Futbol is the gift that gives back.  From every purchase they donate 5% to support play projects for organisations working with children in disadvantaged communities worldwide, where play is scarce or non-existent.  Isn’t that a really lovely idea?  Especially at this time of year.  £35 might seem a bit steep for a football, but if you think about how many you buy over the course of a year then it definitely balances out.  One World Futbol is available from Amazon.

Sass and Belle Activity Suitcase – Bear Camp Playset

RRP £23

Age 3+

Is this not just the sweetest little set?  I almost squealed when I saw it, it matches Masons room perfectly (well the idea of Masons room in my head anyway!).  From Sass and Belle, this little set features three little bears, a teepee and campfire all made from wood and finished beautifully.  The whole collection comes in a gorgeous suitcase which can be used as both storage and a play set for the little characters.  The quality is great and I think it makes a lovely gift for a young child. They are available to buy from Ash and Dove and come in at £23.

Venom Mini BMX

RRP £129.95

I feel like this could be the perfect bike to bridge the gap between balance bike and “proper” bike.  Connor can go his balance bike no bother but with his normal bike he is very reluctant to try without the stabilisers.  He says he doesn’t feel like he can hold the bike up on his own as the wheels are too big.  This Mini BMX has 10″ wheels compared with his current bike which is 14″ and as the body is slightly lower to the ground on the BMX I’m hoping that he’ll feel more comfortable.  It’s similar to his balance bike in size apart from the higher handle bars but I really do think. this could be the perfect way to build his confidence.  From and retailing at around £129.95 the Venom Mini BMX comes in a range of colours so it’s perfect for both boys and girls.  I’ll let you know how we get on with it!

And there you have it, my Kids Christmas Gift Guide.  I really hope I’ve managed to give you a few ideas, I’d love to know what you thought so please leave a comment below or give me a shout on Instagram.
